Third edition Volume ONE ONLY. Marbled boards with leather spine and corners. Faded gilt titles on spine along with 4 gilt rules. Some general shelf and edgewear, along with some overall rubbing. Former booksellers sticker inside front cover, along with former owner's signature on FFEP. Front hinge is perhaps a little tender, back hinge strong. Top page edges were originally tinted, but that tint is somewhat nondescript now. Very minor foxing confined to endpapers only. Interior strong and sturdy with only the lightest touch of age toning. All in all, really a superior copy, conservatively graded at good, probably should be very good
