STORE ASSOCIATE POSITION FILLED - THANK YOU
We are currently seeking an PERMANENT associate on a part time basis . Duties will include:
- catalog and input titles into our database
- keeping storefront tidy and maintaining shelves in proper order
- helping customers
- processing internet orders
- running local errands (no vehicle required - all within walking distance of the store)
Background and Experience
- retail experience, preferably within the book trade
- flawless command of the English language, both written and spoken
- well read in classics and ideally other literary areas
- familiar with Windows based programs
- speed and accuracy in keyboarding
- flexible hours
HOME BASED ASSOCIATE - POSITION FILLED - THANK YOU
Currently seeking a part-time associate who can work from their home. Duties will include:
- catalog and input titles into our database through remote connection
Background and Experience
- flawless command of written English
- well read in classics and ideally other literary areas
- familiar with Windows based programs and FTP (file transfer protocols)
- MUST HAVE experience with book cataloging and be familiar with standard book grading - preferably using Homebase or Booktrakker software
- speed and accuracy in keyboarding
- must have Windows operating system on home computer along with full virus protection
- must be willing to train initially here in the store
- must be willing to come into the store twice weekly for pickup and drop off of materials
